TROPICAL BEACH
It owes its name to the exceptional good weather along the year. Two centuries ago, it became the only place in Europe where subtropical fruits such as mango, cherimoya, avocado and papaya could be cultivated. Fruits that evoke exotic flavours and places but, in fact, they are grown in one of the most privileged corners of Andalucía. Along this route you appreciate the geography of Granada’s coast.
Once airborne we will fly to the Sierra de Tejada Nature Reserve and over the spectacular Zafarraya mountain pass making our way to the city of Nerja. As we follow the coast you will see La Herradura, El Peñón del Santo, the Moorish Castle of Salobreña and finally the harbour of Motril. On our way back to the airport, you can take in the beautiful landscape of the Valle de Lecrín, the Alpujarras and the Sierra Nevada. As we reach Granada, we pass over the Alhambra before returning to the airport. |
